I was super excited when I got an email from Marie little more than a week ago, asking if I would be interested in being a Guest Designer over at The Paper Shelter! I thought, are you kidding!! I have entered their DT Calls twice, but never made it! So Jay! I get to play with the great Paper Shelter images on a more regular basis!!
Ok, now that I got the blabbing out of the way....
Our brand new challenge is up and running. The theme for this weeks challenge is :
Easily does it - An Easle card with a Christmas theme
Now with Christmas literally just around the corner, I am trying to make as many Christmas cards as I can. I have once again left it for too late in the year! Darn it! Will I never learn!
For my card today I used this adorable Christmas image, called Are you Ready my Friend? How cute is that!!
What is the prize we are offering??
If you play along with a Paper Shelter Image or Digital Papers, and you are the lucky winner, you get a $30 Gift Certificate!! Do you know how many stamps you can buy with that! But of course you may use any image! Then the prize is 3 Digital Images of your choice!
Here is my card:
A Close up of the image:
And the Copics I used to color them!
Additional products used : Fancy Pants Design Paper Pad - Saint Nick, Bazzill Cardstock, Wild Orchid Craft Flowers, leaves and Photo Corner, Lace, pearls, fluffy gold trimming from my stash. And then that ribbon! Oh my word it's the most gorgeous ribbon in the world I think. It's red if you hold it one way, and then green if you turn it. Love it!!! Never want to use it, but simply had to for this card.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
1. Lady Anne's Challenges - Anything Goes
2. The Crafty Bloggers Network - Christmas Anything Goes
3. Forever Friends - Use Ribbon or Twine
4. Make it Monday - Always Anything Goes
5. Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Anything Goes with any Artist
