On a roll today!

Hi Everyone!

I'm on a roll today!  Had the change to make 2 cards for different challenges!  So in my previous post I have mentioned that I am the worst blogger in the world.  So my new year's resolution is the following.  I will do at least 2 cards per week for different challenges.  By the way.  I hate new year's resolutions as they never last, don't you agree?  I feel I need to say this.  I make about 30 -50 cards per month.  I sell them in various stores around here.  I need to make some sort of income to support this addiction.  So really,  making 2 cards per week for challenges and then blogging them shouldn't be that difficult , should it???

OK.  Here is my card.  And here it goes!  Meet Alicia.  She is my fairy and will be out and about shortly with different poses etc.  I am so proud of myself.  My husband said he will have to adapt our doors and make them bigger so my head can go though.  But really.  I have tried to paint before and do all sorts of artsy stuff,  never really tried to draw, and thought because I suck at painting and so forth, drawing is the last thing I should try.  I had this image in my head for a while now.  Begged and pleaded with my husband to draw it for me, cause as far as drawing talent goes, he's definitely got it!  But after a few months, and him drawing other stuff like anime woman with huge ...hmm.. well, I decided that I shall do it myself.  And this is the result.

I'm entering this card into the following 2 challenges:

Anything goes - again, at the Creative Card Crew. HERE

Challenge Time!!

Hello Everybody!!

So I've just realized that I'm probably the worst blogger in the world!  Seriously!  My last post was somewhere in August.  Shame on me!!

In any case.  I hope you've all had a wonderful December so far!  Getting into the Christmas spirit this year is a challenge on it's own this year for me.  We are moving to our new house between the 26th until we are done, which can be no later than the 31st!  How fun is that.  We haven't even put up our Christmas tree yet.  I'm seriously still deciding whether or not to do it.  What do you guys think?  Would you put up your Christmas tree if you know your busy moving??  Suggestions?

Ok.  So here is my card :

This is for the following challenges:

Anything goes over at the Creative card crew.  HERE
Christmas Inspired Challenge at the Top Tip Tuesday. HERE

Busy Busy Busy!!

Hi Crafter's!!

I have been terribly neglecting my blog.  I have been busy making cards for a local shop who sells them for me.  Had to get my stock up!  Hope you've all had a wonderful weekend.  Is it just me or is the weekends simply too short!  I sometimes suffer from insomnia, so I'm feeling very tired today, yesterday etc.  It will pass soon - I hope.  My 2 boys have been a bit sick this past week, but they're all better now and up to their usual naughty selfs!  Here's a picture of them:

So here is a few cards I made this past 2 weeks.  Sorry for the bad images.  I packed them and only then took the photies!

A few of the images does not want to upload, so I'll post them later.

Thanks for looking.

It's Challenge Time!

Hi Crafter's!

Well talk about getting it all wrong!  When browsing through interesting blogs, I'll add them to my favorites link in Chrome.  So... This card was supposed to be for a few Challenges.  One of them for challenge 36 over at Incy Wincy Designs... Well... When I visited their site this morning I never bothered to check if I'm on the current challenge and dit challenge 36, stiching... They are currently on challenge 52.  AND I wanted to enter this in Fab 'n' Funky Challenge, Reuse or Recycle, only to see now that it was last weeks challenge, which I also didn't look at properly this morning.  I think I got up too early today.

Oh Well.  Then I am entering Stamp TV's Color Challenge (http://stamptv.ning.com/forum/topics/monday-color-challenge-72610-1) which is Black, Ivory and one accent color of which I chose Blue/Green.

Entering in The Shabby Tea Room's Challenge (http://theshabbytearoom.blogspot.com/) - One, Two and Three Challenge.  One Ribbon, Two Buttons, and Three Punches or Dies.  Used one ribbon, Two buttons of which I clipped the hole-a-ma-thingy off at the bottom to stick it, and the Punches/Dies are, 1 corner round punch, die 1 peeking through at bottom of image and ribbon, and die 3 next to image!

And Lastly, Card Sketch over at Card Patterns (http://cardpatterns.blogspot.com/2010/07/sketch-74.html).

Loved doing this card.  I have never made a card for more than 2 challenges at a time.  This was suppose to be for 5 challenges,  but seeing as I can clearly not read, it will only be entered into 3!!

Sorry for the bad photo!  It's getting dark here and I just couldn't wait till tomorrow to post this!!

Thank You for taking the time to look!

Coloring Page Images!

Hi Crafters!

I use a lot of coloring page images for my cards.  As I said in my first post, living in SA, getting nice images to color for cards etc is difficult, seeing as I live in a really small town and have to order all my goodies over the internet.  SA is a bit behind in the online purchase department!  I suppose we'll get there someday!  Here is two cards using coloring pages:

This is a Bratz happy birthday card.  This was the second image I colored with my new Copics.  Only have them for 2 weeks now, and I love Copics!  They are simply the best!!

This a a Lovie Dovie card.  The image is a free Manga coloring Page.  I love Manga images.  They are so fun to color.  This image was colored using Copics: E00, E21, E29, C1, C7, W1, W7, B39, B93, B24,
BG96, G99, YR00, YR23, RV29, R46 and 0.  Hmmm,  going to do another one right now!!

Thanks for looking!!

Manly Cowboy Card

Hello Crafters!

Is it just me, or is making manly cards more difficult.  With Feminine and children's cards you can do so much.  Add butterfly's and flowers and bling and tons of ribbon, but with man cards!  Gosh,  If only they were into butterfly's and stuff!!

Products used for this card:  Bazzil Cardstock.  DP I bought way back when, no name do not know who it's from..., Copics,  Distress tool, very thick MANLY twine.  The image is a free coloring page for kids I got from www.mescrayons.com.

And here's the card!

That's it for now.  Will be posting my Tiddly Inks challenge shortly!
