Challenge

Hi Happy Crafters!

What a weekend!  We had a nice long weekend here in SA, so I should feel rested..... Shouldn't I?  I always dread "Monday's", even if they start on a Tuesday!  Back to work.  By Thursday afternoon things start to look up again.  I am still struggling to find balance between work and my crafting on week days.  I NEED TO CRAFT! Work's definitely interfering.  For those who haven't read my previous entries, I only recently, like 6 weeks ago started working again.  We are busy renovating our house.  It's a big old Farm house.... Really big, which we are splitting in 2.  The parents in Law are staying on the one side, and us on the other.  Thus, we have no bathroom on our side, or a kitchen....  Saturday we went and bought the bathroom and separate toilet taps, and outlets and soap holders and shower stuff.  Gosh,  why is the stuff so darn expensive!!!  To break this down.  We bought a bath tap and outlet, a shower outlet and head, 3 basin taps and outlets, a shower rack and 2 soap holders and it was like R2800.00!  Roughly converted to dollars : $350.00.  I mean really!!!  The first weekend in April we will be getting the bath, shower door, basins, and toilets.  Wonder when we will ever finish with this!!

OK.  I've made some cards this weekend and are entering some challenges again!

First up :

What fun it was creating this card!!  I've never made a card like this and although it uses a lot of paper, I think it was worth it!

  2. This is such a fabulous card, the whole effect is unique and eye catching. Your colors are wonderful, what I would refer to as Williamsburg Blue which is blue with undertones of gray. The distressing and stitching are so beautiful as is your coloring! All around a truly wonderful card! We really appreciate you joining us this week for our challenge and to celebrate our anniversary! Please join us again very soon!
